In 2017, Recycle Coach was awarded the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s recycling education program. In New Jersey, it’s required by law to recycle certain materials – so we had our work cut out for us.

We had to implement a state-wide adoption process, then make sure residents were happy to regularly use the Recycle Coach App.

It was the ultimate test of our app’s readiness to spread across the world. Rolling out on such a large scale was a big step, with 565 municipalities and population numbers approaching 9 million.
